About the Event

A charity evening to remember

Get up and dance at a fantastic evening of music with the eclectic Missy Nelson Band. A bar, authentic curry and some very groovy tunes, it's going to be an unmissable night - plus we're expecting other artists to join the line-up. Getting hold of tickets couldn’t be easier, just click here.

Great food

Choose the meal-deal ticket and enjoy an authentic warming home-made chicken dish or a flavourful veggie option. With vegetable side, naan and poppadums with dips, come and join our feast.

Lively tunes

Then chill out or get up on your feet to the unique sounds of Missy Nelson. With upright bass, fiddle, guitars and drums they work covers from bands as diverse as the Rolling Stones, Aztec Camera, Jonny Cash and the Bee Gees into their own rock/folk/funk sound. They’re well known for getting the room jumping.

The best reasons

And it's all for a good cause. The Silent Bleed, a charity headed up by local fitness instructor and Reiki practitioner, Jason Roberts, supports people around the world with the extremely rare neurological condition, Superficial Siderosis. It's so rare, most people haven't even heard of it.

Imagine if you'd survived something like a spinal injury, brain surgery or a stroke and then, decades later, you find that the trauma has created lasting damage. Affecting balance, hearing, sight, smell, taste and thinking ability, by changing the way that nerve cells communicate, Superficial Siderosis can slowly rob a person of their life.

We've help get doctors talking, support research and help people to get on to an experimental drug that may halt the condition in its tracks. Diagnosis is a confusing and distressing time: we help by publishing easy to understand information, an expert Q&A and leaflets to give to doctors and other medical personnel. Find out more about what we do and why we do it.
