Blue Skies

A quick note from Dr Levy

'I have two pieces of research news. In our collaboration with the UK group (Dr. Werring and Natalia), we are finalizing a research grant proposal to fund a deferiprone trial in SS that will include studying biomarkers in the spinal fluid. Secondly, here at MGH, I have a team of four us (me, another junior faculty member and two fellows) that developing an MRI protocol for analyzing changes in iron deposits over time. One of those fellows will also be reviewing the latest SS data on causes of bleeds."
